We’ve mentioned the bendy body of the Zopo C2 on numerous occasions, but just how tough is the phone? Well these laboratory tests should give you some indication!
The Zopo C2 is a 5-inch 1080 phone with up to 2GB RAM, 1.5Ghz quad-core processor and 13 mega-pixel camera, plus it recently got updated to a Gorilla Glass display. So it has the hardware but just how well does compared to the greatest from the likes of Apple and Samsung? And just how rugged and tough is it? The video below goes some way to answering those questions!
Zopo C2 laboratory test video
Gizchina News of the week
The video below starts out by pitting the Zopo C2 against the iPhone, then there is a camera shootout with the Samsung Galaxy S3 and finally a full on laboratory test to show us just how tough the Zopo is!
The Zopo C2 is a very nice phone, and although a little flex this video does help ease the mind a little. Zopo phones are officially available internationally through Zopomobileshop.com.
Yea right but they should add a flexi amoled screen combined with a flexi gorilla protection to that phone if they are not planning to make that body more solid .
Despite the phone being strong and durable, the grey/silver edging is made from cheap sprayed plastic. This scratches and dents really easy. My phone looks old and beaten even though I’ve only had it a few weeks. Shame really since an alloy/metal frame or black coloroured plastic would have made it more durable and have a longer life.
I agree with you. My one-year-old ZP900 is also full of dents on the blue edging. If only it was easy to peel off I´d leave its edges all on the “glossy black” plastic that is underneath the paint. But the paint is HARD, so it would be possible to remove it only using a dremel, which risks damaging the plastic below. So I leave it the way it is.
You could try using a paint marker to touch up or model kits market to touch up the scratches. I also have that problem
Is this the 6589 or 6589T gorilla C2?
Gorilla
speaking youth, my looks could not stand nor stride to stay in the pocket … the touch screen of my Zopo c2 cracked in less than 1 month of use … may be that those who are coming to be more resistant Gorilla glass … but anyway … I will stand at a distance with Zopo …
Actually, first comparison shows how much more responsive iPhone is. When swiping pictures on iPhone it reacts immediately, and picture follows the finger with no visible lag, Zopo C2 lags noticeably. Not sure, what’s to blame here: touchscreen, CPU/GPU, or Android (i.e. lack of optimization)? My guess would be that MTK quadcores are just not snappy enough for 1080p, even turbo version.
