To think that Chinese phone start-up only began shipping phones in 2010 its amazing to learn today the company is already worth $10 Billion!
CEO Lei Jun has confirmed the amazing news after another successful round of funding. Just over 12 months ago the fledgling company were worth $4 Billion!
Xiaomi’s business model of keeping demand high and supply short has helped created a fevered buzz around the company and it’s products. It also helps that Xiaomi phones and Android TV boxes are extremely good value for money and receive excellent support!

That’s a big achievement in very short span of time. It shows the believe and faith of Chinese consumer base on this brand. I wish they start exploring other countries as well.

This is one of the reasons why xiaomi totally piss me off. It was acceptable during the MiOne era but they dont have any excuses this days i mean they are now worth $10 billion. I almost had a nervous breakdown waiting for the MiOne to available back then hehe but atleast they helped me discover gizchina. I gave up on their products ever since the mtk6577 dual sims came out. Its like hunting down a unicorn or the lochness if you dont live in china.
