Earlier today Google announced the next instalment of the Android operating system, Android 4.4 KitKat, and they may have also accidentally leaked the Nexus 5 in the process.
During the unveiling of the newAndroid Kitkat statue at Google, a promotional video was made showing the festivities. Eagle eye’d viewers of the video noticed something odd around 38 seconds in (see photo above), as one of the bystanders is holding a mystery Nexus device.

Handily the image also has the current Nexus 4 shown too and we can see that the newdevice is larger in size, has the ‘new’ Nexus logo, larger camera lens and an LG logo! Google have now marked the video as private, but The Verge have reposted it and you can watch it below.
Nexus 5 spotted in leaked video
Both Google and LG have not make any comment about the device in the video.

I can’t see the picture or video. What happened?
Looks like the JiaYu S1. Maybe JiaYu are making the next nexus?
Hehe as much as I’d like to see that there’s no way, not for now at least. Jiayu is not large and reliable enough for Google to entrust it to build a Nexus device.
Xiaomi, Oppo and maybe Meizu are the only only Chinese companies that could build a Nexus device.
