TCL have released an official render of the new 6-inch TCL N3, a phone we believe will eventually be available internationally as n Alcatel model.
We have seen a couple of leaked photos of the TCLN3 in the wild over the past few months, but now TCL have released this official promotional render of the 6-inch 1080 phablet.
Gizchina News of the week
According to reports the N3 will be powered by a 1.5Ghz MT6589T Meidatek processor, have at least 2GB RAM, 5 mega-pixel front camera, 13 mega-pixel rear, and 3400mAh battery. Although the display is 6-inch, TCL’s designers have been smart enough to keep the width of the phone down to a minimum with very small bezels. Dimensions, pricing details and a launch date are still to be announced.

borderless = yes.
6 inch = no.
if one could make a borderless 720p 4.8inch, 5inch max, it would be perfect for me. whats the point of 6inch phones if you already have a tablet..
Louisclub, the point is exactly NOT having to have a tablet and a phone… 6 or 6.5 inch is perfect for a phone that works as a tablet… nobody needs a tablet if a phone like this can do the job… right???
I phones should be handy and easy to handle and to keep safe, tablet can be a little bigger, but i would really like every app with 2 different user interface settings. 1 for a small screen the phone itself and 1 userinterface that can be used with wireless displays so you can turn your phones into a workstation and the thouchscreen into the trackpad. And all this in a standardised form via the playstore. ok i stop dreaming now…
nice design, thank god some companies embrace narrow bezel design (so dissapointed by oppo) allthough i would prefer this design with a 5 inch display, so its more pocket friendly 😉
How about we try this math instead:
6 inch = yes.
Louisclub = no.
Please let people choose there own favorite size. Nobody needs you to campaign to have their dream phone discontinued, or never built.
Yes, it’s quite funny that some folks opine as if their wishes are God’s will… 🙂 just let the users have their own preferences. I for one won’t mind to have a 6-inch smartphone in addition to my current 4.7″ one. For sure if i hv a 6″ one i’ll behind my 7″ tablet 😉
I hope Chinese maker will put focus on following:
– removable battery with enough juice for at least one day normal usage
– supporting external memory slot (microSD; 64gb at least)
– use 2GB RAM or even bigger ; 32/64GB RAM
– quality main camera yields quality image
Awaiting more quality and competitive phones from Xiaomi. Huawei, ZTE, TCL (Alcatel), Lenovo to reach the international market.
This article’s title clearly states that this is a 6inch phone. I cannot understand why someone who is against large phablets would come and read it. Let alone posting yet another negative comment.
