Hasee have launched their first Android smartphone in China at a low price of only $65.
Chinese electronics giant Hassee have been rumoured to be entering the mobile phone market for months and they finally have with the 399 Yuan Hasee Ling Ya H45.
The 4.5-inch phone has been designed with cost, not performance, in mind and features a 1.3Ghz MT6572 dual-core chipset, 512mb RAM, 4GB storage, 2 mega-pixel front camera, 5 mega-pixel rear, 1800mAh battery and Android 4.2.2.
Gizchina News of the week
To keep costs down to a minimum the phone only has room for 1 x SIM, and only supports China Mobiles TD-SCDMA network (for now). Hasee are also rumoured to be launching a 5-inch, Nvidia Tegra 4 phone with 4GB RAM later this year at a price less than the Xiaomi Mi3!

It is a pity that this phone will not work over here in the Netherlands right away. While a phone with a cost price like this would it do pretty well. The market would be glad with it. While not every one is waiting for bigger, faster, better and higher prices by every new phone. There is a good market for cost effective and good technical phones. So I do hope soon will be there a type that it will do with our networks.

I can’t help but notice the iPhone-ish design ^^’
Pretty neat for this price, but the shipping cost will probably be as expensive as the phone itself … :/
