With the popularity of the gold iPhone 5S here in China, Xiaomi are also planning to launchgold versions of their smartphones.
The luxurious look of a goldphone is just what some Chinese phone customers are looking for. Thankfully phone makers like Apple and now Xiaomi have gone for a less bling gold and more subtle Champagne option.

Xiaomi will launch the Mi3 with Nvidia Tegra 4 later this month, and the Snapdragon 800 version sometime in November. The Mi2S is currently available in China and selling well at a new low retail price of 1799 Yuan.
