Each of the new Element Platinum tablets feature quad-core processors running at 1.6Ghz, Mali 400 GPU, get dual band WIFI, 8GB of built-in storage and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The only real differences between the 3 models are their screen sizes and resolution.
Gizchina News of the week
Oddly the largest Archos 101 Platinum with 10.1-inch display has a resolution of 1280 x 800 where as the 9.7-inch Archos 97b has a higher 2048 x 1536 resolution. Both of these models have a 2 mega-pixel rear camera and 2GB RAM, and the larger tablet boasts built-in GPS. The smallest of the trio is the Archos 80b Platinum with an 8-inch 1024 x 768 panel and 1GB RAM.
Like the majority of Android tablets each model also offers Bluetooth, USB, HDMI, and SD memory expansion.

A few months ago, rumors said that Archos will use Onda as OEM-supplier… then
“the 9.7-inch Archos 97b has a higher 2048 x 1536 resolution” could be explained if they use Onda 971/972/973 models as OEM.
Buddy design of Archos tablet is not matching the design philosophy of Onda design tablets. I am sure it is designed by other factory.
