Newman preparing to launch 5.0, 5.5 and 6-inch 8-core phones

Electronics maker Newman have announced that they will launch not 1, not 2 but 3 8-core Android smarpthones based on Mediatek’s MT6592 Octa-core processor.

Of the 3 8-core phones 2 models are confirmed to be updated version of current phones, with the 3rd, a 6-inch device an all new model to the Newman range.

Starting off at 5-inches will be the Newman K18, which as you can imagine is an updated version of the popular Newman K1 with a faster 8-core MT6592 chipset. The 5.5-inch phone is the Newman K2S which boasts the same 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 panel, 13 mega-pixel rear camera and 2GB RAM as the current K2 and MT6592 chip.

The 6-inch model remains a mystery, however from the specs of the Mediatek MT6592 we can make an educated guess that the display will also be a 1080p model, with up to 2GB RAM and a 13 mega-pixel rear camera.
