JiaYu have a new budget phone in the works. The 4.3-inch phone currently known as the JiaYu G2S or ‘Super’ will go on sale soon and boasts features not normally seen at this price range.
The G2 Super is aimed squarely at the Xiaomi Hongmi, so with such successful rival JiaYu have ensured that their phone has all the basics and then some covered. Starting at the front the display measures in at 4.3-inch with a 1280 x 720 resolution and Corning Gorilla glass protection. Processing grunt comes from the new quad-core Mediatek 1.3Ghz MT6582 which actually puts out similar Antutu scores as the MT6589T. There is also 1GB RAM, 2 mega-pixel front camera, 8 mega-pixel rear, USB OTG 2200mAh battery and a metal chassis!
Gizchina News of the week
Knowing what we do about JiaYu; build quality, the G2 Super is going to be one quality piece of kit, it is also initially only going to be available on TD-SCDMA networks and will be in short supply to start with! Still those customers who can get their hands on one will be able to choose from 6 colours including black, white, green, blue orange and others.

mt6582 interesting! mali 400 mp2
I have a question Andy, you said that mt6582 obtain the same score than the mt6589T. I bought a lenovo a850 with a mt6582M processor and MALI mp2 gpu.. Does this config better than a mt6589 processor with a SGX544 mp1 gpu? because i get 16000 score on antutu and better score than mt6589 on the other 3d benchmarks too.. Thats strange no?
What phone are you comparing it too? Your lenovo only has a resolution of 540 x 960 so keep that in mind
Comparing with the zte v967s ( 540 x 960 too). Maybe lenovo cheat with ROM? Normaly a brand like Lenovo souldn’t do that, but its strange i think that a 6582m get better scores than a 6589 processor.. o__o
F!CK YOU
“it is also initially only going to be available on TD-SCDMA” 😐
hi..you have any new informations about the arival? and you know if it wil working in europe-greece?/
I like a number of items I perused and wondered if this G2 Super can be used in US and how much US to get .. Finally can I get to use on walmart’s straight wireless ? Feel free to laugh .. I am not technically oriented any more as been out for a few years!
MTK 6582 is advertised that it supports both TD-SCDMA and WCDMA I think ? Maybe it can work on WCDMA frequency
