Mystery TCL Diablo X to launch with 8-core processor

TCL, one of Mediatek’s larger customers, has posted a PCB of a mystery device with 8-core MT6592 processor labeled the TCL Idol X!

Although one of Mediatek’s larger customers, along with Huawei, it is rumoured that TCL won’t be the first to launch an 8-core MTK phone this year! However, this might just give TCL the added time to launch something social such as the mystery TCL Diablo X!

This printed circuit board labeled as the Diablo X was posted on TCL’s official Weibo account and is rumoured to be an 8-core phone with 6-inch display, 2GB RAM and at least 16GB of built-in memory.

As for the first 8-core MTK6592 we may find out as early as November 12 during a Sony launch in Shanghai, or may have to wait unit November 20th for an official Mediatek launch!
