The second generation 8-core MTK6592 Zopo C2 (aka Zopo ZP1000) has been getting a lot of exposure lately, but this is the first photo which gives us a real idea of the design and size of the new model.
Previously we had been under the impression that the next generation Zopo C2 (ZP1000) would be a 5-inch 1080 device, but a new leaked photo on Weibo shows a larger 6-inch device. Only the rear of the C2 is shown in this photo, but we can just make out the chunky looking sides of the phone, hopefully this is just a trick of the light otherwise the new Zopo is going to be quite large and thick.

Looking closely a rear speaker grill can be seen towards the bottom of the phone, the Zopo logo in the center, rear camera with LED flash at the top center and a volume rocker on the left side.
Additional details suggest the phone could launch in November just after the MT6592 launch and that the phone will ship with Aliun OS for the Chinese market. Other highlights will be a 13 mega-pixel camera and 2GB RAM. No word on NFC, battery size, wireless charging or a price just yet.
I have no problems at all with the phone being chunky, as long there’s a battery larger than 2500mAh in there. I like the design quite a bit, reminds me slightly of the ZP300, which still is my favourite Zopo.
