Lenovo S930 is a 6″ phablet which costs only $246!

We’ve witnessed a flurry of phablet launches in the past few weeks, ranging from OPPO’s N1, TCL’s N3 to UMi’s Cross. If this didn’t satisfy your appetite for large screen smartphones, here’s another one from a more recognizable brand – Lenovo’s S930!

The device has gone on pre-sale in China, with prices starting as low as 1499 Yuan ($246). Like you would’ve expected, the phablet will feature the current favorite chipset from the budget segment; Mediatek’s MT6582. Design is based along the lines of Lenovo’s own Vibe X which made an appearance at the IFA in Berlin earlier this year.

Full specifications of the Lenovo S930 include a 6 inch 720p screen, 1.3GHz quad core MT6582 processor along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM, 1.6 mega-pixel front-facer, 8 mega-pixel rear and a 3000mAh battery, all packed in a thin body measuring 170 x 86.5 x 8.65 mm. The device will have dual SIM support as well.
