8-core Zopo ZP1000 trick or treat hands on video!

Is this really the 8-core Zopo ZP1000 in this hands on video, or is someone trick or treating us for Halloween?

I’m going to spoil the surprise now and say that this is in fact a Halloween Trick-or-Treat video created by Chinese technology enthusiast Colonel ZAP. In fact the phone in the trick-or-treat hands on appears to the the Zopo ZP990, Zopo’s current quad-core phablet!

The video does mention some interesting features though, the obvious being  an 8-core MT6592 processor, and interestingly a 5.7-inch 1920 x 1080 display, the claim that it has 4G LTE does sort of give the prank away though as the Mediatek MT6592 specifications only list 3G and 2G network support.

Zopo are expected to launch an 8-core Mediatek MT6592 phone later this year, but as it stands have not released any details about the phone. Official Zopo news can be found over on the newly launched Zopo website and the official Zopo Facebook fan page.
