Chinese tech sites are excitedly reporting the news that the Vivo Xplay 3S could cost ‘just’ $606 once it is officially launched before the end of this year!
Vivo have been quite open about their next generation phone with very tasty teasers telling us the phone will ship with amazing features including a 5.7-inch 2K display, 3GB RAM, 4G TE, and Snapdragon 800 quad-core CPU. Today’s news adds a 3000mAh battery and F1.8 aperture camera to the hardware line up with a launch price of just 3698 Yuan ($606).
Gizchina News of the week
At that price it is fat from cheap (almost double the price of the Xiaomi Mi3) but with such a high level of specification and compared to US and European phone prices the Vivo Xplay 3S looks like a bargain to us!
The rumoured pricing is meant to be for the 32GB model, a 64GB version is also expected at the slightly higher price of 4098 Yuan ($672).

Wow this is getting better and better now if I could only get my hands on it living in Denmark 🙂
I think he meant playing with it without buying, just to see whether it suits him.
Well that pretty impossible for anyone living in Europe…if I were to take an educated guess !
I actually meant playing with it first, but the phone becomes pretty expensive with the 25% import tax we have here plus $50 administration fee. Thanks for the tip Simon
I actually emailed them regarding it, about 2 weeks ago. They responded by saying, as soon as it is released, they will sell it. Wow yes Denmark is very expensive. One of my friends here in the UK was living in Copenhagen, but just recently moved to Berlin.
Buying it or playing with it should not be a problem in Denmark even with that pricetag.
