Countdown page to World’s First 8-core Smartphone Appears on Zopo Website

After confirming that they will be the first to launch a true 8-core smartphone, and also offer it internationally at launch, ZOPO have continued the post launch excitement by posting a countdown on their official website.

The unnamed and still quite mysterious next generation Zopo phone launch is just over 5 days away. In case you’re just to excited about the launch of the first ever true 8-core phone then ZOPO have posted a countdown on their official site so you can keep track.

Zopo 8-core Specification

Zopo have managed to keep most of the details of their flagship octa-core phone a secret only revealing that it will launch (and go on sale) on the 21st November and will be the first phone to ship with an 8-core MT6592 chipset from Mediatek.

Various rumours have suggested everything from a 5.5-inch 1080 display, one piece design to even 4G LTE support (we somehow doubt this until midway through 2014), but concrete details are hard to pin down.

What would you like to see from Zopo’s next flagship phone?

I wouldnt want a 6.5″ screen , would be too big for me, 4″ to 5″ is just perfect.

Yup, everything but the 6.5-inch display would be nice
