ZTE Nubia Z5S and Z5S Mini launched

ZTE today launched their new Nubia Z5S and Z5S mini Android smartphones with updated processors.

While the rest of the big name brands have launched (or are planning to launch) all new flagship phones for 2014, ZTE’s Nubia brand have settled to refresh their Z5 and Z5 Mini with better performing processors.

The new Z5S and Mini both ship with a Snapdragon processors, the flagship Z5S getting a powerful 2.3Ghz Snapdragon 800 processor, They both also get updated 5 mega-pixel front cameras, and LTE support (depending on region).

As it stands the two new phones are only available in China, but as the previous Z5 has official made its way to the U.S we expect these models will also.

Negative and positive points I see:

    Z5s :

    Negative:

    Z5s have no microsd slot
Battery non replaceable of 2300 mAh with screen of 1920 x 1080 and Snapdragon 800 at 2.3 Ghz !! (biggest mistake ever)
    No NFC support
    Is not dual sim

    Positive :

Will be LTE version FDD LTE yes at last !
Nice stacked Sony camera 13 mp aperture F/2.0
Infrared support to use phone as remote control of almost 98% of electric devices like Honor 3
Amazing Yamaha audio processor capable to playback 24 bit 192 khz sound files ,Dolby decoder
    Gorilla Glass
    Very thin : only 7.6mm
    Bezels of only 2,67 mm
Good price and maybe easier to get than Xiaomi
