Do you want super quality and super fast Google Nexus 5 for 400$? No, thank you, I want noname phone from uncle Liao for 440$.

There are actually some advantages of this over the Nexus 5. It has a larger display, metal chassis, larger battery and (probably) better cameras than the Nexus 5. Plus, from where I come from (Malaysia), the Nexus 5 costs around $600, so I’m still better off getting “noname phone from uncle Liao” for $440.

Outside of the US, the nexus 5 is considerably more expensive, for example, I’d get the 16gb version for $500 here in Taiwan, and the 32 for $600 (USD). Uncle Liao’s phones are starting to look pretty sweet.

Considering that the nexus 5 16GB version is 900$ here, uncle Liao phones are a success in Brazil.

too expensive for me. That price is entering the established brand market.
