3G enabled Cube TALK lineup set to get 8-core upgrade

Chinese manufacturers like Cube and Aoson, once very popular among international customers, have had to brave the onslaught from newer manufacturers who have risen to fame in no time. However, Cube, for one, seem to be in no mood to give in just yet!

Right after the launch of Mediatek’s MT6592 8-core processor, the company announced that devices from the TALK series, which come in various screen sizes will be getting an 8-core upgrade. It isn’t hard to guess which 8-core processor it’s going to be. However, these devices will only be available in January of 2014, so there’s a little patience to be had if you fancy one.

TALK series devices will come with screen sizes of 5.5″, 6.5″, 7″, 7.9″, 9.7″ and 10.1″. Cube clearly aren’t keeping their eggs all in one basket.

I have been wondering which Chinese tablet to buy. And one thing thats been putting me off was unavailability of 3G in most of them. I am in Nigeria and WiFi networks arent very popular down here. Been considering going for the Pipo M9 Pro, but these Cube Talk series can change my mind if they gets upgraded to the 8-core MT6592 SOCs`

I have the Cube U30gt2 tablet.
It was very’good till it the on/off button was damaged.

Now f*cking Cube does not respond to already my 5th email.
So if you are gonna buy something from them, be aware that they don’t know the word ‘costumer service’.

Most chinese companies tend to not answer e-mails easily… when my pipo u2 got defective i had to send like 5 e-mails 2 get an answer (and they only answered once I attached a video of the misfunctioning device)… although they were really helpful once they decided stop ignoring me.

Thanks Yash..I was trying to buy a Pipo M6 Pro but (see my forum post) I got scammed on AliExpress..I was just about to buy from Pipo-store.com but couldnt get them to give me a sensible reply about shipping when I saw this article! I have decided to wait till next year and get an octa-core….dont know which yet, dont need 3G as only use wifi, but certainly wont be pre-ordering again (like I did with by Jiayu G4) and will wait for GizChina to give me some reviews….bring them on!
