Changhong’s HONphone H1 launches with 8-core processor, 5.5-inchdisplay and 3400mAh battery and huge 7000mAh battery pack!
China’s Changhong have been trying to break their way in to the domestic smartphone market all year with very little success, but this hasn’t dampened their spirits as the larger electronics maker heads to market with the all new HONphone H1.
The HONphone H1 makes use of the latest 8-core MT6592 Mediatek chipset with 2GB RAM, 32GB memory, and 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 display! Pretty impressive as it is but the H1 also get’s a 3400mAh built-in battery, rear 13 mega-pixel camera, 8 mega-pixel front camera, dual-SIM, micro SD expansion and even an optional case with 7000mAh external battery pack!
Gizchina News of the week
Even with the large internal battery the H1 measures just 157.2 x 78.5 x 7.9mm. Pricing isn’t available at the moment but once on sale the phone will be available in both white/silver and gold colour options.

Finally, someone who’s been listening to what we want! It’s probably going to be priced ludicrously though, which is sad. My guesstimate would be around $400.
If it’s going to be that much, they can keep it. Built-in battery Sux down the road. No matter how much we try, batteries do not stay perfect and will suffer degradation… I’ve seen it countless times.
