NFC version of the UMi Cross goes on sale 1st December

UMi’s NFC equipped version of the Cross phablet will officially go on sale on the 1st December, more details here.

The UMi Cross is the current flagship smartphone from the Chinese phone maker and has only been on sale for a few months, but is already getting an upgrade. From the 1st December the Cross will be available with NFC built-in allowing you to easily connect and sync to other devices. The rest of the hardware including the 6.44-inch FHD display, and 1.5Ghz quad-core processor remains unchanged.

8-core UMi Cross?

Based on past experience with UMi and the Chinese phone market in general, we believe that an 8-core version of the UMi Cross will also make it’s way to market in the coming months. In fact anyone who is planning to get a Cross might want to hold on for this version as we found the quad-core chipset in the current model struggles to handle certain games.

I have one. good phablet. excellent battery!
A 8core proc. is required, also with Mali 450 or adreno… to be a real beast.
Anyway, at this price is the best quality you can get… I don’t have a case for it, cause it’s not nedeed… excelent case and fabrication, not a single scratch after several impacts with concrete, ceramics, and other foortypes. It’s a well done product. Incredible quality at this price…
