TCL hints at wearable devices

TCL themselves have hinted at the possibility of releasing wearable device based on Android. A TCL smartwatch seems highly probable!

December will see the launch of the 8-core MT6592 TCL Idol X+, a very exciting MTK phone on its own, but that’s not all the Chinese phone maker have in store. According to leaks and even TCL’s own teaser image, we could also see a range of wearable TCL branded devices.

It seems likely that a TCL watch is in the works along with either a slimmer watch model or possibly a more basic wrist band for use monitoring sports and sleep. TCL’s range of phones have been selling well this past year both at home and in Europe under the Alcatel name, but are wearables going to sell as well?
