ZTE Grand S II Dual gets benchmarked in style, scores over 33k AnTuTu points!

Gear up ladies and gentlemen, the ZTE Grand S II is coming! Going by the leaked AnTuTu benchmark scores, the phone will pack some punch!

The phone will succeed the Grand S which came in earlier this year, powered by the Snapdragon S4 Pro. Judging by what this device did to the AnTuTu benchmarking app, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the Grand S II Dual will feature the current mainstream favourite, Snapdragon 800 chipset! It is interesting to note that the phone scored 33,357 points, beating the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 by a margin of more than 2,000 points!

Considering ZTE’s aggressive pricing habits, do you see the Grand S II Dual being the 2014 storm trooper?

That’s some score! It remains to be seen if they tap all that the 800 chipset has to offer.

For example, though the MT6589T offers NFC, OTG, Miracast etc. as part of the chipset, not everyone chooses to implement.

    May the buyer benefit!

Yash, any idea when this might get released?

I’m holding back on purchasing the Nexus 5.

From the photos, it’s clear there is only one microphone, which means no noise cancelling 🙁
