Gionee Elife E7 Mini render looks like a low-cost Oppo N1 with rotating camera

Gionee’s next mini phone based on the new Elife E7 may actually be more than just a shrunken down phone. Renders of the Gionee Elife E7 Mini show a 4.7-inch device with Oppo N1 inspired rotating camera!

Earlier today we reported the launch of the Elife E6 Mini and commented that Gionee might rival Oppo sometime in the future. We don’t know of Gionee were reading but the latest leak from the company suggests that they were thinking the same.

This purported Gionee Elife E7 Mini render shows a 4.7-inch unibody phone measuring in at 139.8 x 66 x 8.6mm. Specification attached to the image claim it will run the latest 8-core MT6592 Mediatek processor with 1GB RAM, a 720p display and dual SIM support.

The most interesting feature of the phone though is the 13 mega-pixel camera which sits on a rotating section of the body allowing a single camera to be used front or rear. The design is similar to that of the Oppo N1, but with a much small body.

Time will only tell if the Gionee Elife E7 becomes a reality. Would you like to see more Chinese phones launch with rotating cameras? Let us know in the comments.

i think it looks much more beautiful than oppo n1. But i dislike that rotating camera. Looks like a cheap product, i really don’t like this feature.

I do like this feature. And the specs are really good. If they sell it with a little price tag, it would be an interestin phone.

Very good for girls and their selfies!

I second the extra GB of RAM. Hopefully they will produce and “Advanced” version!

1GB RAM is just not enough these days. I wonder how Amigo would run on it?

Gionee I believe are a top quality smartphone manufacturer, as I believe the Elife E7 Mini’s big brother is a beast of a device with 3Gb of Ram, 16 megapixel back camera and 8 megapixel front camera. Definitely a company to watch.
