Huawei Ascend P7 specifications leaked

An internal document from Huawei has leaked the specifications for the Huawei Ascend P7.

The Huawei Ascend P6 has surprised many in the phone industry. Not only is a premium looking phone with good hardware, but it has managed to do what no other Huawei has done before! Gain fans and sell well!

The P6 will soon be making way for the updated P7 though with some major updates over the current model. Display size will increase to 5-inch at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a new HiSilicon Balong 910 quad-core chipset will be incorporated running at 1.6Ghz.

As we can see from the details the body will be made from “Exquisite materials” which we guess will mean an all alloy body again, and one of the major selling points is “best selfie videos”! The P7 also supports cat 4 LTE, which should also be a major consideration point for any customer.

Pricing hasn’t been announced but the phone will be in store April 2014 so expect to see it launch early next year.

I’m telling you, one of these days cats will rule the world. Now it’s cat 4 LTE. Soon it’s going to be cat 4 president. Then it will be cat 4 life. We must stop it now.

“Balong” literally means “8 Dragon”, so it sounds like this might be another octa-core. Obviously I might be very wrong.

Right next to that it says “quad core 1.6GHz”. 😀
