Tinydeal, a Chinese retailer posted a hands-on video of the latest rage in town — the THL T100 — sometime back. Not sure how we missed this, but better late than never!
The THL T100 is the company’s latest flagship, dethroning the W11 or the Monkey King which came in earlier this year. It was not until the W11 that THL made a name for themselves with regards to unique design; Previous devices from the company were more or less based on existing smartphones from international players like HTC, etc.
THL T100 in action
The T100 also happens to be their first smartphone to feature the 8 core MT6592 chipset. The current version operates at 1.7GHz throughout the 8 cores, based on the Cortex A7 architecture. The T100 also features a 5-inch full HD screen, 2GB of RAM, 32GB ROM and dual 13 mega-pixel cameras for selfie lovers, and otherwise. The phone is seen undergoing the AnTuTu benchmark test among others.
What do you think of the T100? Would you prefer this over the larger Zopo ZP998?
I will decide between this or Zopo ZP998 when get a confirmation about 3G bands of Zopo new model. Some webs say 900 and 2100mhz, another say 850 and 2100mhz
I prefer 900mhz to use un spain.
Official zoposhop.com says “WCDMA 900 / 1900 / 2100”, so does zopomobilestore.eu. So I assume it had 900Mhz, cause I need in Belgium too 🙂
I thought that it was a phone without replaceable battery … I see that the T100 has really everythg that I was always waiting for …
I still think abt the Goophone N3, or maybe the zp998, but personaly I need the 850 frequency…
what a awful screen and design… it’s almost copied from the mi3
Buy some glasses. The Mi3 and the MK2 look different in a lot of ways.
it could be thinner. Beside thickness, in general dimensions are quite average(or bad)
I was expecting something much cooler in the new era.
Neither this nor Zopo.
I will just w8 for the 8core TCL or some other unexpected entry.
Zoppo flagship came with little battery size for that size, and this design of THL MK2 is not pretty.
I will wait for users reviews, and also for the Zoppo 990+ (zp990 upgrade with 8core). I prefer a 6 inch screen. And also in January first manufacturers will show their 2014 flagships
Huge bezels on top and bottom… make it ugly. What a pity.
I actually like it to the zopo. Rather flimsy back cover though
