$165 Geek smartwatch youth edition launched in various colours


Chinese tech start up Geek have launched a youth version of their popular smartwatch for just $165, along with releasing developer tools for 3rd party developers!

Geek’s smartwatch has been selling well since it’s launch, but at 1999 Yuan is rather expensive considering it’s limited features. So to bring wearable device to a larger audience Geek have launched a more affordable ‘Youth’ smartwatch costing just 999 Yuan.

The Geek Youth Watch comes in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple and features a 1Ghz single core processor, 4GB memory, 512mb RAM, a 1.55-inch 240 x 240 display, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The Youth Edition is on sale in China only for now, but don’t worry as we will be announcing the winner of our Geek watch giveaway shortly.

    Meh, no GPS and this is probably an old MIPS SOC used in other watches …. I’ll wait.
