For a 5/2014 launch I think Ubuntu is a better choice than CM.
+1 Let Android in… at least until Ubuntu is full of apps, people will leave Android only if: 1) Ubuntu has a much better system, more fluid, stable, with a better battery management, with desktop capabilities… and 2) Ubuntu has the same or similar apps than Android → making it compatible or coding Ubuntu native versions.
I agree that it should dual boot (Ubuntu phone OS is still a young and will need some time to mature). Yet the default OS on boot should be Ubuntu 😉 …
fucking traitor leaving Oppo to set he’s own company -_-
Why traitor ? its just business .
Oppo’s Kedros Ng actually supports OnePlus on his Twitter page and on the OnePlus forums.
I’ll be waiting… but hope it dual boots Android + Ubuntu OS, with a full desktop mode so I can replace my computer by docking it to a display + keyboard + mouse.
I’ll pay up to 4000 for that, assuming it’ll kick all asses around!
Minimum specs: Cortex A50 Series @2,5 Ghz (64 bits) + 4-6 GB RAM + 128 GB ROM + 128 GB Cloud + 4,5″~5″ frameless screen HD~FullHD made of sapphire composite, + eInk screen (at least a case), 13 mpx f1.8 camera really good in low light w/stabilization + 4000 mAh battery (at least 2 full days use in almost any case).
Wow ! and you would pay 4000$ for this?
Hahaha! Forgot currency! CNY 4,000 that’s about USD 660. Maybe would pay USD 750-800 depending on the power of the machine…
How many phones can you see in that picture? I can see:
1 Galaxy Note 3
2 iPhone 5
1 Red HTC One
1 iPhone 4/4S
1 Silver Xiaomi Mi3
I also see a whole bunch of other phones that I can’t seem to remember their names. Do you see any other phones?
