FAEA are promoting their open source phones once again with an offer to save $30 on a developer version of the FAEAF2 or FAEAF2S.
FAEA released the kernelsource code for their flagship F2 phones on Thanksgiving and since then have been building a team of developers to work on bringing CyanogenMod to the Mediatek quad-core phone. Customers wanting to get in on the open source action can now purchase the FAEAF2 or FAEAF2S with a $30 discount for the phone.
Keep in mind though that no custom ROM based on the released source code is expected for quite some time. Still the discount is quite a good one.
