Popular tablet manufacturer Teclast today unveiled their latest in the 7.9-inch league of tablets — the WCDMA-enabled G18d.

Equipped with dual SIM slots and support for voice calling and 3G, the device aims to be an affordable alternative to Apple’s iPadmini. Featuring the same 7.9″ form and the 1024 x 768p resolution of the first-gen iPad mini, the G18d comes with a Mediatek MT8389 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and features 1GB RAM, 16GB ROM, a 5 mega-pixel and 2 mega-pixel camera duo and a built in mic, which means plugging in your handsfree headset isn’t mandatory anymore.
The G18d gets a price tag of ¥799 (~$132).
