Oppo N1 Pepsi edition heading to China

We had seen rumours about a Oppo N1 Pepsi edition earlier this week, but thought the news couldn’t possibly be true, turns out it is!

Full details haven’t been confirmed, but the above image posted on Oppo’s official Weibo shows that the phone maker are teaming up with the 2nd best Cola producer in the world. The special edition phone is most probably heading to stores in time for the Chinese New Year, and may well include some of the first WCDMA N1’s available in China.

It is unclear what will make the Pepsi N1 any different from a regular version, but we imagine it sill be some sort of exterior decoration to the phone. The Pepsi N1 won’t be the first Cola themed phone on the market here and follows the popular Dakele phones in to the market.

seriously im sick of waiting for the WCDMA version of Xiaomi Mi3 and Oppo N1 to release. Now these phones dont seem like a good buy. Why announce something in mid-september and not release it until almost 2014. We already heard about the next gen SOC, next Mi version probaly Mi3s or something and Oppo find 7. Why buy this expensive SD600 phone now. Better to get Nexus 5.

If Xiaomi managed to release the WCDMA version in mid-October it would have made a buzz all over the world with being the first SD800AB CPU phone. but now Gionee Elife E7 has been announced with better specs even though i still cant digest the stupid name. SD600 is im sure is (enough) for now but its always good to have (awesome) instead of enough right!!!!

International Oppo N1 already launched on the 10th, Mi3 was yesterday. If you are in China and waiting for the WCDMA N1 then it is going to be January.

exactly my point. whats with the 3 month delay to release a phone its so annoying. By Oppo’s words international is Vietnam, Indonesia and Russia. Its not big INTERNATIONAL enough seriously.

By no means im not saying Oppo sucks. but if you announce something release it after like a month not 3 months later. Same goes for Xiaomi. Seriously SD600 on a 600$+ phone is ridiculous.

If N1 had a SD800 and Qi carging i would buy it anyday with CM official ROM it would have been a great phone. I guess ill wait for the Oneplus phone to release
