With the delay in releasing the WCDMA Xiaomi Mi3, Chinese knock-off makers have already started to launch their own low-cost clones of the latest Xiaomi phone.
The ‘Live Me X18’ is actually the second Xiaomi Mi3 clone we have seen (3rd if you include the THL T100S) behind the N0.1 M3 phone which was announced last month. Unlike other Mi3 wannabe’s the X18 has it’s sites firmly locked on budget phone buyers with a lower specification and entry-level price tag of just $150.
Measuring in at 144.2 x 73.6 x 8.4 mm the X18 has a 5-inch qHD display, 1.3Ghz quad-core MT6582 processor, 512mb RAM, 2 mega-pixel front camera, 8 mega-pixel rear, 2000mAh battery and dual-SIM support.
The clone is so true to the original though that the first variant of the ‘Love Me X18’ will only be compatible with China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA 3G network!
The X18 will go on sale before the end of the year for 899 Yuan.
4 core but 512 MB RAM ? Disappointed …
