More photos have uncovered a purported leak of the Oppo Find 7 5.5-inch 2K display, plus details of the phone’s quad-core processor have been leaked too.
Oppo have been been slowly feeding details of the flagship Find 7 since late last year. From those teasers we know the Find 7 is confirmed to have a 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 display and 4G LTE connectivity, but it is unofficial news that has been feeding more juicy details to us about this new phone.
The steel frame of the Find 7 leaked earlier this month, now it is the turn of the 5.5-inch from panel and display of the phone to make an appearance. The photos, which were posted up on Weibo, have been taken with a 100 Yuan bill and can of Pepsi for comparison purposes and measures 152.76 x 75.22mm (FYI a 100 Yuan note measures 156mm x 77mm).
Gizchina News of the week
The display appears to be have spaces for a large front facing camera, speaker and proximity sensors. The shape and design seems to be similar to the Oppo Find 5 but obviously with a larger display and also narrower bezels.
In addition to the leaked display other sources close to Oppo have mentioned that the Find 7 will have up to 3GB RAM, and either a Snapdragon 800 or 805 depending on when Oppo decide to launch the phone.

O…O!!
I hope they’re able to push Qualcomm to give them first dibs on the 805 so they can launch with it. The processor REALLY is significantly better, and comes with a bunch of cool new tricks that fit right in with Oppo’s repertuar. Ubifocus and HEVC probably being the most relevant.
And I’d LOVE to see what the CM guys do with a 805 based phone to take advantage of the hardware accelerator for video. 😉
WHENWHENWHEN!!
Oh my.. this isn’t gonna be cheap. 😛
