Nokia Lumia ICON Full Specs and Pictures Leaked

The Nokia Lumia ICON is probably the worst kept secret in the smartphone world, with leaks coming out on a regular basis. Today’s leak takes the cake though, as pretty much everything we could want to know about the Nokia Lumia ICON has been revealed.

The Nokia Lumia ICON has shown up on Verizon’s test site with full specs and pictures, according to WMPowerUser and others. The page has since been taken down but while it was up it stated that the Lumia ICON has a 1920×1080 5 inch screen, a 2.2GHz quad-core CPU, a 20MP camera and a 2,420mAh battery.

Gizchina News of the week

The amount of RAM and storage space was not revealed but it is rumored to include 2GBs of RAM and 32GBs of on phone storage.

The Nokia Lumia ICON had previously been leaked thanks to spy photos and aftermarket cases being shown early, but this is our first look at the phone proper.

The device still has not been officially confirmed but considering the frequency and intensity of the leaks, an announcement is likely coming soon. The price remains unknown but is suspected to be very competitive. When the phone is announced we will have the details for you.

What do you think, does it make the Windows Phone platform any more tempting?

Wrong… I’ve been waiting for a competitive WP from Verizon for years. I’ll be one of the first in line to buy this bad boy with it’s 2.2 Ghz Quad Processor as soon as it’s out.

That’s too bad, because WP8 UI is soooo much more fuild and faster than Android. What I don’t like about WP is the lousy multitasking and the dark colors of the UI. Sure you can change it to white, but it’s clearly not properly designed to use lighter colors. 🙁

Bad reputation can kill even a good OS which is unfortunate. Android and Apple need more competition.
