We recently reported about the affordable trio of super affordable Intel powered phones that Asus showcased. The Asus Zenfone 4 happens to be the cheapest among the three.
Joshua Vergara of Android Authority got a chance to play with the Asus Zenfone 4 at the ongoing CES 2014. The Zenfone 4 is priced a meagre $99. Meagre because it comes with a dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor and 1GB of RAM, which is something that will make Chinese manufacturers green in envy. Apart from the Intel processor and 1GB RAM, the phone comes with a 4-inch WVGA screen true to its name, a camera duo of a 5 mega-pixel rear and a 0.3 mega-pixel front and lastly, a 1170mAh battery.

Asus Zenfone 4 hands-on
Asus has shown some great intent by pricing the device aggressively. With a price tag of just $99, the device is bound to do well not only in emerging markets, but also in markets as mature as the US.

1170mAh battery. ¬¬
fuck asus !
depends how thirsty the intel soc is.
Well, if it’s capable of running two days on one charge I would still have prefered a 2000mah battery. Think of the battery life that would give you.
Really curious about the performance as this is x86 based and intel themselves have been working on this version of Android, could be great could be terrible, but intel deliver top of the line products most of the time soooo.. hopes up!
specs not really good for the price
Looks crap.. The JIAYU G2F is the MUCH better choice.. Nearly same price.
