Over the weekend iOcean held a low-key launch for their latest flagship phone, the octaocreiOcean X7S Elite.
iOcean’s firstoctacore of the year is an updated version of the the iOcean X7, a phone which made the company many new fans when it launched at the start of last year. Being an update rather than a whole newphone means the X7S Elite is visually identical to the original phone with the updates taking place on the hardware level.

The processor in the iOcean X7S Elite is the same 1.7Ghz octacore Mediatek unit we have seen in the Zopo ZP998 and THL T100S. This processor along with 2GB RAM should be more than enough for every app you can throw at the newphone.
Updates continue in the way of a new 5-inch LTPS 1080 display, 13 mega-pixel main camera with anti-fingerprint protection, and the newphone also boasts the ability to run either a 2000mAh or 3000mAh battery.
The iOcean X7S Elite will go on pre-sale from 21st Jan in China for just 1399 Yuan ($230), making it slightly more affordable than the Zopo ZP998.

Cofirmed! GPS works VERY GOOD after replacing the old Antenna and adding the conductive tape ( also very important part of the mod)
Where can we ask for a new GPS antenna to fix it on IOcean X7 ??? I got one but my GPS is unusable..
Iocean stepped in contact with android forums all over the world offering help by sending the admins or mods a whole pack of antennas depending on how many users needed one. After they received them they sent it out to the users. you have to pay privately to the admins or mods for delivery, the kit is for free. Search for a local forum and check if theres a thread about it as well. worked for me 😉 Good luck!!
Is this phone still bendable like the iOcean x7? my old iOcean x7 cracked my screen whitin a month.
still the same phone as iocean X7,it only update the processor to MTK6592 8-core.really can’t understand iocean what want to do,won’t change any design from 2013-2014.
Still no LED behind the menu buttons and still no Corning glass I suppose? 🙁
Nevertheless a very affordable price for MT6592 with FullHD display and 2GB RAM
