Earlier than most would’ve expected, here we have a hands on video of the next-in-line UMi flagship — the UMi X3!
Chinese retailer Antelife managed to source a demo unit of the device. It is not clear if it is the final retail version or a prototype, but the appearance of the device is in agreement with prior leaks. Purported specifications of this phablet include a 5.5-inch LTPS 1920 x 1080p display, octa-core MT6592 clocked @1.7GHz along with 2GB RAM, 5 mega-pixel front and 16 mega-pixel rear cameras. According to the reseller, the device will feature 3 storage variants — 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

UMi X3 hands on
In the video, the device is seen undergoing the AnTuTu Benchmark test where it scores a decent 26088 points, in line with other MT6592 devices seen in the past. Please be noted that the background music might not be to everyone’s taste, turning down the volume might help.

Right, so sad the the huawei honor 3x has a built-in battery and no microsd slot.. it s a great phone with a 2ghz frequency.
Ahhhh …. the Umi X3 was supposed to have a 2.0GHz MT6592 SoC. How come the 1.7GHz variant instead?
This is crazy and I have been waiting for the launch of the device all these while believing its gonna have 2.0GHz.
Now I am disappointed. Im gonna have to switch back to the 3D69 with FHD 3D screen
