HDC U9592 is the world’s cheapest Octacore phone at just $200!

Chinese phone maker HDC have hit headlines in the past due to their HTC One clones, but this time they get the limelight as the makers of the world’s cheapest octacore smarpthone!

The HDC U9592 is the latest octacore smartphone to hit stores running the latest 1.7Ghz MT6592 processor. The HDC U9592 though is available for international customers to buy and at a great low price of just $199.99, making this the most affordable octacore phone available right now!

Gizchina News of the week

Feature highlights include 2GB RAM, a 5-inch display, 8 mega-pixel main camera, WIFI, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 ETC. A quick scan over the specifications also reveals that there is dual SIM support and micro SD card reader too, however the display is a low resolution 854 x 480 unit.

Still at this price the HDC U9592 is still a tempting buy, especially for anyone requiring a ton of processing power at the lowest possible price.

The difference in performance as far as real world performance between quad core and octacore isn’t enough to warrant such poor screen resolution.

If I’m looking for a sub-200 dollar phone, I’d probably go with a cheap 720p quad core over this. Hongmi or Honor 3C is probably the better choice, despite less powerful specs…

Dear Andi you should know that 99% of the HDC phones are not produced by HDC – they are OEM phones that steals the brand name only … you can visit HDC website simply by googling hdc.cn & see that they mainly clone HTC models – not even a single SAMSUNG clone…
