Rumors are abound with the HTC M8/ HTC Two / HTC One 2 or whatever HTC decides to name the successor to its current flagship phone.
Today, GSMArena is reporting that an “insider” has told them the HTC M8 (The official internal codename of the phone) will sport a 2k (1440×2560) resolution screen of over 5 inches. The back of the device will have two UltraPixel cameras in order to improve depth of field, image quality and stability.
UltraPixel is HTC’s proprietary camera technology that consistently outperforms cameras with a similar number of megapixels. GSMArena does not have word on how many UltraPixels the cameras will be. However, if HTC has been good at one thing, it is cameras. Twin UltraPixel cameras should be exciting for anyone who really cares about their cell phone’s camera abilities.
