OnePlus says they have created the best looking phone on the market

Hardware startup OnePlus have really started to start the hype machine up over on their Facebook page this week, their latest post claiming that they have created the most attractive phone yet!

OnePlus was announced back in December and in less than a month have announced a partnership with CyanogenMod and hosted a brand launch event in Beijing. Currently to only detail known to to many concerning the phone is that it will have 4G LTE, but other than that OnePlus are keeping tightlipped about everything else.

This will the OnePlus Facebook page has sprung to life with explanations behind the name choice, promises that they will deliver a no compromise device, and that they believe that their flagshipdevice will be the most attractive on the market!

Industrial design wise, we’re confident our phone is more attractive than just about any phone on the market.
Boom. We said it.

Only a few people have managed to see the OnePlus Oneflagship prototype and we are all keeping quiet 😉

The most important thing about One Plus is that they think globally. Most Chinese (and others) companies think the world starts and ends at their home country.
Examples:
Vivo – excellent hardware but you can’t operate it in pure English (other languages are simply no option).
Pantech – Top notch hardware (as good as anything you may think of), but… the world starts and ends at south Korea! (only short SMS messages, roaming warnings all the time since you are not in Korea and many other small things). Why Pantech doesn’t publish a plain English and international ROM is simply beyond my intelligence!
MediaTek – It is time your GPS sensors should work properly on the western side of the world!

  Are you a business man? if you are, you’ll know why…the world starts and end in china! Take this: we are barely 170 million in Nigeria but I sometimes sit down and project possible sales figures. selling a mobile device to just 0.5% of the Nigerian population each year at a margin (net profit) of $5/ device will make me so much money. I mean like $4million p.a in profit….Now replace Nigeria with China and replace that 170m with 1,351 million and see what the final figure comes to….I bet it will make you pee your pants. so do you how the world starts and ends in China? Now if i was considering a second citizenship?….I may go for that “Blackanise” passport. LOLZ!

    First, it takes more than 10s of millions for me to pee in my pants…
    The problem is that these manufacturers start their work with a stock android which is international in the first place and then they are putting effort into making it a “local” version of android. Keeping android as close as possible to the stock version should be the minimal effort. In essence, the manufacturers are putting effort into locking other markets out; instead of taking the easy path of using stock android.

      I see where you are heading to and yeah I sort of think you may be right in what you are saying…but the truth is, these manufacturers are not yet focused on global domination (besides, they are suppose to be communists, remember?…lol). IMO it will take them a very longtime to conquer the Chinese market. Now consider how long it too the likes of Sony, Samsung, Apple, Nokia, HTC etc to get to where they are today….how many Chinese Manufacturers have put in just half of that time? I honestly don’t think there’s any! See? Until China becomes too small for them, they may not be too interested in the rest of the world and I don’t blame them. because “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”….Dude I also feel you pain… I am a Nigerian, and I am just as hungry for the cheap quality android as anyone else and if it is not coming the way I like it the it ain’t worth it….
