China’s Zopo will be accepting orders again for the Zopo ZP998 starting the 8th of next month.
This will be the second lot of the ZP998, which happens to be Zopo’s first ever 8 core phone. Folks in China will be able to book themselves one starting 12:00 on February 8 until 11:00 on St. Valentine’s Day. Zopo will be distributing purchased units after this, with deliveries set to commence 17th February.
Gizchina News of the week
For the unaware, the ZP998 is Zopo’s premier smartphone with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, 1.7GHz octa-coreprocessor from MediaTek (MT6592), 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and a camera combo of a 5 mega-pixel front and a 14 mega-pixel rear. The Zopo ZP998 goes for CNY 1499, an equivalent of about USD 247.

If i am in china, from where can i get it at 1499 yuan? From zopo Store?
I would rather shoot myself in the face than give my money to those clowns again. Zopo is the biggest joke in the world.
What unit did you get from them, that, you found was a waste of time and money for what you got?

LOL….i think he is referring the the pre-order mix up that went down December regarding the zp998. Other than pre-ording(which i dont recommend) zopo devices are quiet good for the price. Just be sure to get one with 2gb RAM for a more awesome experience.
I had hoped he would’ve replied.
I own a Zopo ZP900 Leader. I got it back in October 2012 and I’m in the U.S.
That phone has worked more than perfect and has taken everything i’ve thrown at it. I decided to not go the quad core route as i was awaiting the octo-core release.
But even then with the ZP900 I awaited the 3rd to 4th production run to give them an opportunity to work out the kinks.
Now with the potential of 4G LTE octo-cores to see the light of day soon I will await the 3rd to 4th production run of those, then, I’d shop Zopo again as the wife and i have had zero issues with our units.
It simply out performs the price i paid for our units
Correct, I am referring to the pre-orders. I agree that the devices seem to be quite good for the money. I would not trust the company though, I don’t trust them do deliver the phones or give me a valid warranty if something happens.
