Gizchina News of the week
As has been the case with most Huawei devices launched of late, the Ascend Y530 too will run Huawei’s Emotion UI atop Android. Heartening is the fact that it will be based on Android v4.3 Jelly Bean, with thick chances of an upgrade to KitKat. Huawei announced the device with a suggested price tag of $200 or €149 price tag, with Germany to be the first stop in March this year, with other markets to follow.

It’s more a low-ranger than a mit-ranger…
It’s a bit overpriced, $150 or $160 would’ve been better. Speakuing of KItKat for Huawei devices, I just installed KitKat beta for the Ascend P6 on my phone. It’s pretty stable and performs great.
This seems to be a great smartphone. Like I heard, a bit overpriced, but a beast. I am using this Acer Liquid for last 2-3 years. It’s also a nice smartphone.
I bought a chinese phone wit the same parameters for $70…
Not much of an upgrade from Y300 but okay.
