Philippine based phone maker Cherry Mobile have launched their firstphone to feature NFC called the Cherry Mobile Rave 2.0.
The guys over at unbox.ph have got their hands on the Rave 2.0 for a quick unboxing and Antutu test with a review promised for the near future. The phone appears to be an OEM device from China featuring a 1.2Ghz quad-core MT6589 processor, 1GB RAM, large 5.3-inch qHD display, 13 mega-pixel main camera, 5 mega-pixel front, dual SIM support and a largish 2400mAh battery.

Of the hardware the one thing which strikes us is the use of the 1.2Ghz MT6589 chipset when the 1.3Ghz MT6582 is more modern, powerful and better for battery life. This also explains the lower than expected Antutu score of just 13,138.
The Rave name hints at the audio centric feature of the device and the fact that customers will receive a free NFC speaker with their phones.
