The miuidevelopment team are back after the Chinese New Year, and according to recent Weibo chatter miui V5 could soon be available based on Android 4.4 KitKat.

Owners of current Xiaomi phones shouldn’t get too excited about the update however as it appears the Android 4.4 KitKat version of MIUI V5 has been specifically produced for the Nexus 5 which currently runs Android 4.4.2.
A confirmed launch date hasn’t been released yet, but we also believe that MIUI will also be coming to another nexus device but not the Nexus 4. Could MIUI be heading to the popular Nexus 7 tablet too?
