Under a fortnight since its release, firstimages of the hybrid Cube iWork 10 have surfaced online promising a solid build and sleek looks!
We reported about this laptop/tablethybrid on the 27th last month. With impressive specs and great potential usability, the only thing that could hamper interest in this device was a delayed launch. Now that firstpictures of the device have shown up, we have a reason to believe it won’t be too long when buyers start receiving units of their iWork 10.

A recap over the specs sheet of the iWork 10, and you’re reminded that it comes with a 10.1-inch screen (resolution unspecified), Intel’s dual-core Bay Trail processor operating at 1.8GHz, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a host of connectivity features including HDMI, 3G and WiFi.
Slap on the ‘flip keyboard’ cover and you have a fully functional Windows desktop. Take it off, and you have the mobility of a tablet. No word on pricing as yet, but keeping in mind Cube’s track record we’re pretty certain this one won’t be too heavy on the bill.
Cube haven’t specified screen specs as yet.
According to Merimobiles and ChinapadMall the screen will be a 1280 * 800 resolution IPS screen.
No word on pricing?? The source article says 1999 Yuan or if you install Windows yourself 1699 Yuan.
加上其1699元起售的价格 – plus its 1699 Yuan up sold of price
如果可以就能省下300元(Win8版1999元) – if you can can save 300 yuan (Win8 Edition 1999 Yuan)
Geekbuying has already started listing this product as in stock, no option without OS but the price is still relatively close to what is listed by Cube. Not a bad price but I’ve seen the equivalently spec’d Asus T100 go for $450 though usually it retails around $500-$600. T100 also has about an 8200-8300 mAh battery which gets 10 hrs battery life according to reviews, this IWORK10 isn’t far off with 8000mAh so its conceivable that it’d hit 9 hrs atleast. The backing of this tablet seems to either be made of brushed metal or plastic with the look of metal. If it’s the latter I’d be willing to bet the IWORK10 would have a more premium feel than the T100 which is widely considered in reviews to feel relatively cheap. If Cube has managed to do everything right this might be the new best value win8 convertible.
