On the 19th of this month
Chinese phone maker
Gionee are planning to
launch an all
new Gionee Elife S model, here are some of the suspected
details.
Gionee’s range of
phones have come a long way in the past year. The company have had to great flagship phones, the interesting
Elife e7 Mini with
rotating camera, and now they are looking to offer their first ultra-slim
phone.
The
Gionee Elife S is thought to be a rival to Vivo’s X3S and according to reports will run a Mediatek MT6592 octacore processor, 4.9-inch FHD 1920 x 1080 display,
2GB RAM and sport for TD-SCDMA and the more internationally accepted WCDMA 3G networks.
Apparently the
Gionee Elife S, which received its
network licence as the
Gionee GN900, will measure 5.8mm which is slightly thicker than the Vivo
phone, but in all honesty
Gionee will need more than thickness on their side to compete with the Vivo phone, features like HIFI sound and dedicated
audio processors will also be needed.
