JiaYu are releasing the quad-core JiaYu G4C next week with phones avaiable to international customers for just $169.99.
The JiaYu G4 remains an excellent phone, but since it launched last year technology updates have meant that JiaYu have been able to play with the specifications to reduce the cost while retaining the performance. The major difference between last years G4 is the change in processor. As the G4 and G4C uses a 1280 x 720 display the phone doesnt need the MT6589t chipset of the original, so JiaYu have replaced it with the equally powerful but more cost effective 1.3Ghz MT6582 processor.
The rest of the hardware is untouched including the 4.7-inch OGS display, 1GB RAM, 13 mega-pixel camera and dual SIM support.
JiaYu will releasing the first batch of JiaYu G4C in China next week and have already teamed up with SPEmall to satisfy the needs of internaitonal JiaYu fans. Stock of the G4C should be available from 5th March with the phone costing a reasonable $169.99.

please, dark silver metal border for black G4C
(do not paint it weak black paint)
Hello Andi, can you please explain the big difference between tis G4C and the G4T advance model, just a question of price? makes the GPU a real difference between both and which one is the best? For screens lesser than 5″ will the octacore cpu be a real improvement? Thanks for a answer
Good question!
Is not yet out wait a bit but this is going to be good how at this spec is an other good question…
HI Gerald,of course not just a price difference, in my view, the G4T advance’s CPU is better than the G4C, and now both the 2 phones all use quad core processor, not octa core .
