10 amazing Chinese phones we can expect to see more of this month
The following phones fit in one of the following:
- Already launched but difficult to buy,
- Teasers and launches on their way.
- Launching within the next few months
To start the ball rolling let’s begin with a phone which has already launched.
Vivo Xplay 3S
The Vivo Xplay 3S was the first smartphone to ever get a 2K 2560 x 1440 display. The feature packed phone also boasts 3GB RAM, a Snapdragon 800 processor, fingerprint scanner and 13 mega-pixel camera with F1.8 aperture.
You would think with such a beast of a phone Vivo would be splashed across the news for record sales and delighted customers. The fact is though that the Vivo Xplay 3S was severely delayed and only recently went on very limited sale! The good news is that the whatever problems Vivo had with the phone now seem to have been resolved and more Xplay 3S models are expected to be released later this week.
OnePlus One
We won’t be seeing anything of the OnePlus One device in the way of leaked photos or a launch, but we do have a suspicion that OnePlus have scheduled a number of timed teasers to keep interest in their phone going.
The first teaser rumoured to be on the 6th March and will probably be the details of the processor on the ‘no compromise’ phone. Details of the display, battery, camera and other surprises will follow on a (possible) weekly basis, leading to the launch.
Xiaomi Mi3S
The Xiaomi Mi3S is a phone we just know will happen and with the Xiaomi festival just around the corner we believe this is when the phone will launch. As you can probably tell from the name, the Xiaomi Mi3S won’t be a new phone, but rather an updates Mi3. Updates are likely to come in the form of better front and rear cameras, possibly memory updates and the addition of 4G lte support.
Xiaomi Hongmi 2
The Hongmi still sells well but it is starting to look a little old in comparison to rival phones, The Xiaomi Hongmi 2 is rumoured to get a April 9th launch, the the Mi3S and maybe even a Xiaomi tablet.
Hongmi 2 rumours stretch back months, and it is generally believed the phone will get a 5.5-inch display, octacore processor, and even 4G lte. In fact chances are that there will be 2 new Hongmi phones launched this year!
