Goophone X3, the Vivo X3 wannabe just went on sale at the official
Goophone website alongside the Goophone
X2, a
budget quad-core smartphone.
Goophone X3
The
device comes with a 5-inch 720p screen atop a powerful
octa-core MediaTek
MT6592 processor. To go with the 8 core processor, the X3 has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage, which can further be expanded via a
microSD card. Photography and video are taken care of by a 13 mega-pixel / 5 mega-pixel camera duo that feature on the
device. All this is powered by a rather low-capacity 2000mAh battery.
The Goophone X3 comes unlocked and features dual SIM support, and can be bought for $240 at the Goophone store.
Goophone X2
While the
Goophone X3 is an outright flagship from the infamous maker, the X2 is more of a bread and butter
device. It comes with a 5-inch screen with a modest qHD resolution, and is powered by the
MT6582 quad-core processor which has turned out to be a
budget monster. Other specifications of the
Goophone X2 include 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage (
microSD expansion of course), a 5 mega-pixel rear camera, a 2 mega-pixel front camera and a 2500mAh battery.
The device is priced $120 at the Goophone store.
