A Google+ post by Steve Kondik, shared by OnePlus could be the first benchmark of the OnePlus One flasghip phone!
Earlier today Steve Kondik, the main man at CyanogenMod, posted the above benchmarks with the message:
We’ve been quite hard at work lately at the office. I can’t give up the goods yet, but here’s what you can expect to see soon!
Gizchina News of the week
Fans guessed the the device in the benchmark named “My Bacon” and scoring 36,715 in Antutu as being either the Oppo Find 7 or possibly the OnePlus One phone. It seems the latter is correct as the post was quickly reshared on the official OnePlus Google+ channel.
36,715 points in Antutu makes for a potent performer and should put fans mind’s at ease who might have been a little disapointed by the choice of an older Snapdragon 800 chip.
Are you guys getting excited about the OnePlus One?
To be honest this benchmark makes no difference to me, still no longer want it. By the time this comes out there will be a few 801 powered devices available and that is where my money will probably go. They should perhaps do 2 version of this phone, just changing the screen size so those of us who want a phablet may consider buying it.
I unfortunately agree. I’m leaning towards the Find 7… lets see what they release next week
I do hope it meets expectation as I’m fed up with phones that are hyped up for months only to not live up to their promises. fingers crossed the find 7 has top notch hardware, if not I hope the vivo xplay 3s drops in price!
Clearly it won’t. They’re hyping up a mid-range phone. It won’t be 2K, it’s a Snapdragon 800 and they’re pricing it under US$400.
These benchmark numbers mean nothing except the they either: (1) Optimized the code for the benchmarks (a no-no), or (2) Substituted an 801 for the 800 they are claiming they’re using (which would only make sense to a marketing guy, since lying about NOT using the 801 and does more harm than good).
MY GOD, that is zo 8974AB 3GB RAM. I’ll know what I’m getting on 20th, this or Find 7
