OnePlus One will feature voice unlock feature! Asks fans which voice command to use!


OnePlus have asked their growing community to choose a command to unlock the OnePlus One via voice command.

The OnePlus team announced that the OnePlus One has a voice recognition feature based on Qualcomm’s tech and developed by Cyanogenmod. According to this forum post, the OnePlus One will be able to learn the voice of the user to recognise you and perform different tasks!

In a post on their forum OnePlus are asking which voice command the OnePlus One should respond to. The options include, “OK, OnePlus!”, “Wake up, OnePlus!” or “Alakazam”. Head over to the OnePlus forums and vote now.

    Hahaha, this is awesome Andi !!! Cyanogenmod and Qualcomm’s tech discovered feature which I even have in my stupid Haier W718+ MT6572W (Please check it it is coming with the factory ROM) 😀 😀 😀 …. WOW you guys did discovered the hot water !!! Keep up 😀 😀 😀

    voice command to unlock that’s annoying

    tap to wake still the best way to wake and swipe to unlock

    maybe in near future they can make grab to unlock only owner hand can wake and directly unlock the phone and turn sleep when not touching the phone
